The klaxon call has gone out, the climate emergency is here, so why are we still beating around the bush? Let’s seize this moment to take on the fossil fuel companies, their acolytes and financiers.
This article was written for The Ecologist as part of my work for the Divest Parliament campaign (and in collaboration with many other wonderful campaigners). The key demand of the campaign is that members of parliament in the UK divest their pensions from fossil fuel investments in order to send a clear message to fossil fuel companies that no-one should be profiting from the destruction of the climate.
